Class of 2026
What is Nordic Sound?
Nordic Sound is a brand new exchange program for young music creators - where we invite 20 artists, producers and songwriters to a studio challenge in Oslo. Over the course of one week, you'll get a deep dive into music production, songwriting and artist development - alongside other young people who are serious about their music.
You'll work in studios, connect with local artists and producers, and build an international network that could mean a lot for your path forward. On top of the studio challenge, you'll get: Workshops, Industry talks / panel with local profiles, professional press photos, networking events and free time to explore the city. And the best part? All expenses are covered by Erasmus+.
How do I apply?
Applications for our next exchange has not yet opened - you can stay updated by following @nordicsound_ on instagram.
This exchange is a collaboration between Forandringshuset (Norway), Fryshuset (Sweden), and Fairhuset (Denmark), and your local organisation will be responsible for the participants in your country.
Being part of Nordic Sound was a really fun and inspiring experience for me as an artist. Getting into sessions with people I had never worked with before, especially from different genres, was both exciting and creatively refreshing. The passion for creating something unique connects us all - and experiences like this remind me how much you can grow creatively by stepping outside your usual circle. -EMU
